About Lions Club of Singapore Fort Canning
The idea of converting the Leo Club of Singapore City to a Lions club was first mooted by the Lions Club of Singapore (Host) in late 1987. During that time, Lions International raised the “retiring age” for Leos from 29 to 32 years and as such, the Leos (especially the senior ones) are not so keen or eager to join a Lions club or let alone form a new Lions club.
Our Movement
Lions Club of Singapore Fort Canning is dedicated to a few central causes which we believe are crucial in helping us achieve our goals. As a growing movement, we divide our time and efforts so that we can truly invest in each cause. Read on to learn more.
Our Services to Elderly
Outreach is close to our hearts. We believe that the best solutions for society come from within. We have been working with Asian Women Welfare Association (AWWA) Senior Community Home since Apr1991
